We successfully concluded our first live coaching and psychotherapeutic support for people on the path to healing after a cancer diagnosis.
Together we began to tap into the integral matter of health and illness, connecting with our resources, nurturing them, and visualizing what might be ready for deep healing and change.
We worked with practical, expressive and experiential methods inviting AWARENESS and MEANING. Together, we created a space to let go and step into trust, connecting with the sources of healing and receiving guidance that strengthen the sense of CHOICE.
We thank all participants – for the courage, presence and togetherness on the healing path – authentic to each of us, but with so much commonality and treasured wisdoms we shared with each other.
We, humans, are wired for social connectedness. Connectivity is as necessary to our health and well-being as water and food. It is vital to and can strengthen our immune system.
Did you know that the lack of connectivity in our lives can increase the risk of disease and premature death equal to that of smoking every day? The reverse is also true: by increasing our positive emotions, and improving our social environment and connectedness, we regain our health and life.
Support from friends and a restorative environment is a powerful resource on the road to healing. It has been shown that loneliness can lead to mortality twice as fast after a cancer diagnosis. Conversely, opening up to social connectedness and support can increase the life within us many times over, even after a particularly severe diagnosis.
We are committed to affirm life together. We’re sharing video highlights from the past first day of therapy and our live community meeting on October 19-20. We would love for you to feel even a fraction of the atmosphere, emotion, inspiration, and valuable exchange that took place between us.
